Sake Qualifications!
The national beverage of Japan for over 2500 years, saké (pronounced “sa-ke”), is a fermented rice beverage that has been enjoyed since at least the 8th century. It is now increasingly making its mark across the world, appearing on many restaurant wine lists, retail shelves, and even in the cocktails of drinks professionals.
Similar to wine, Sake is a category of its own with a unique brewing process with over 10,000 variations coming in a range of flavors that vary in complexity and style.
Melbourne Wine School has proudly joined forces with Sake Connect to offer the WSET Level 1 Award In Sake, taught by sake expert Melissa Mills, founder of Sake Connect.
If you want to dip your toes in and taste, learn and explore the world of sake, then Level 1 Award in Sake is the course for you!
Come and join us, and explore this completely captivating national drink of Japan!
David
I couldn't be happier with Melbourne Wine School.
Andy is super passionate about what he does and clearly enjoys teaching others about all things wine.
His knowledge of the wine world is freakishly extensive but he has an amazing ability to make it accessible to everyone.
Each session was incredibly fun, super informative and we had the chance to taste some seriously good wines!
I can't recommend Melbourne Wine School highly enough! As someone who knew very little about wine I have now become a little bit wine obsessed.
I signed up for the level 3 course within an hour of finishing
level 2!
