Melbourne Wine School Terms & Conditions

Bookings are not secured until payment is received in full and the WSET enrolment form completed and returned to Melbourne Wine School. WSET bookings will only be accepted on valid forms with a signed and dated student declaration.
In the event of “no-shows” no refunds, transfers or credits will be provided.
For the avoidance of doubt, if the WSET enrolment form is not completed and returned to Melbourne Wine School before the date advised by the course administrator, the student shall be treated as a “no-show”.

Refunds:
Course fees for any Melbourne Wine School WSET course are refundable where a student cancels their booking up to 20 working days prior to the course start date.
Please note an administration fee of $75 will be charged to process the cancellation.

Course Cancellations:
Melbourne Wine School reserves the right to cancel any course or event.
Should Melbourne Wine School need to cancel a course, we will give due notice to students and offer alternative course dates.
In the event of a course cancellation, students will have up to 12 months to attend a new course. If a student fails to attend a course within this timeframe, Melbourne Wine School will consider the student to be a “no-show” and their course fees will be forfeit.

Transfers:
Transfers of a confirmed booking either to another course or applicant are not permitted by Melbourne Wine School. This includes any request to transfer a candidate’s examination date.
Melbourne Wine School reserves the right to review any request for a transfer on a case-by-case basis, subject to an administration fee and course rebooking fee.
All transfers are subject to availability.

Gift Cards:
Gift Cards are valid from 12 months from the date of purchase and are non-transferable, nor redeemable for cash.

If purchases exceed the gift card amount, the remaining balance must be paid.

Gift Cards cannot be replaced if deleted, lost or stolen and must not be purchased or redeemed by persons under the age of 18.

Zero Tolerance:
Melbourne Wine School has a zero-tolerance policy for threatening behaviour or acts of aggression and violence, physical or verbal, towards our members of our staff. Any violation of the policy will result in disciplinary action up to and including termination or removal from any course without refund.
