Luke Campbell from Vinified, has teamed up again with Melbourne Wine School to offer a unique tasting event where we delve into the wonderful alternative side of Australian grape varieties.

Alternative Australia:

Australia’s unique climate and landscape have fostered a fiercely independent wine scene, home to a vibrant and ever evolving community of growers, winemakers, and viticulturists.

 

With more than 100 grape varieties grown across 65 unique Australian wine regions, we have the freedom to make exceptional wine, and do it our own unique way. We can continue to push the boundaries with a vast array of grape varieties, both old and new, with the goal of creating thrilling wines from our own backyard that can stand up to many of the best examples in the world.

Known for his passion, outstanding knowledge and infectious enthusiasm, Luke Campbell knows wine and thrives on sharing in and enhancing others’ wine experiences.

Hunter born and raised, Luke has immersed himself in the wine industry over the past 2 decades. His work in Australia and the UK spans the industry – from ‘Michelin’ starred and ‘Three Hat’ restaurants, bars, retail and education to working vintage at wineries, judging at wine shows and writing for trade and consumer publications.​
