4 Week World Wine Series: Spain & Portugal

The Iberian peninsula is such an underrated source of great wines!

Spain has fantastic indigenous grape varieties with their well known Tempranillo leading the way producing some of the country's most admired red wines and their most planted and versatile grape variety - Grenache.

If you were to look at a map you could see how much climatic diversity there is between Spain's many wine regions, from the rolling green vineyards of Galicia on the north Atlantic coast to the sun-baked Mediterranean coasts of the south east.

Portugal also has its own wonderful personality. With ever-changing scenery, from the terraces of the Douro to the coastal regions of Dao and Lisboa, Portugal's wines are completely unique and a great source of value, if you know where to look!

Come and discover the unique and indigenous grape varieties that both Spain and Portugal have to offer. Over 4 weeks, we will discover the age-worthy wines of Rioja, the intense and structured wines of Priorat, as well as many other styles, including Sherry and Port.

All sessions are led by a wine tutor and include a digital presentation and full tasting notes.
